Canon has unveiled the Rebel T3i (EOS 600D) upper entry-level DSLR. Phase One has released the IQ180, IQ160 and IQ140 medium format digital camera backs with 80, 60.5 and 40 megapixel CCD sensors respectively. Pentax has released firmware updates for its K-5 and K-r digital SLRs, and 645 medium format camera. The latest update for all cameras extends compatibility to SDXC memory cards. Version 1.02 for the K-5 and v1.01 for K-r also brings improvements to the Contrast AF operation and Bulb mode shooting. More details here.

Pentax updates K-5 firmware to V1.01 which increases the number of RAW images that can be shot in a burst during continuous shooting at both low and high ISO settings. Panasonic posts firmware update for Lumix DMC-G2 wich adds a function allowing the recording and playback of 3D images when used with the company's H-FT012 3D lens.
